Both served with Crispy Roast Potatoes, Fresh Salad and Fresh Bread.

BOUILLABAISSE FRIDAYS
On the 1st Friday evening of every month… Chef Warwick will be treating us to the traditional Bouillabaisse which features different kinds of cooked fish
and shell fish. The most distinguishing characteristic of a bouillabaisse is the unique flavouring derived from a
variety of herbs and spices such as garlic, orange peel, basil, bayleaf, fennel and saffron.
Also on the menu these nights … A GAME OPTION … Such as Goat or Hare. Main $28 per person Enjoy complimentary fresh roasted almonds with your pre dinner drinks

Wine Direct sell an extensive range of well priced European wine here at La Cigale. Visit their website at www.winedirect.co.nz.
You can choose from their selection on the night.
They can also help you select a few options if you are entertaining guests prior to your arrival. You can drop in earlier in the week or give them a call on  ph5295267. Or we can pre arrange your wine with Wine Direct for you when you make your booking.
After choosing your wine at Wine Direct just add $10 to the takeaway price and we will serve it in the Bistro with your meal.

 Come and discover our Market Kitchen & Deli with freshly smoked salmon, French cheeses, tapenades, cornichions, olives & pates. Wed,Thurs,Fri, we have delicious home made pies, ficelles, tarts, fresh & tasty salads & more all at the counter, to tempt you!
The Deli is open:
Monday - Friday 9am to 4pm.

The Market Kitchen Over-the-counter lunches:
Wednesday,Thursday & Friday 11.30am to 2.30pm.

The Market Kitchen & Deli are open :
Saturday 8am to 2pm.

Takeaway hot cooked chickens- 16 each
For an easy meal midweek, our hot rotisserie chickens are available to takeaway at 12.30pm Wednesdays and on Saturday and Sunday from 11am.  To order ahead phone Frances on

We’ve relocated & remodeled our café. It’s now located close to the market and is open at 9am. Ready to serve your first coffee of the day with hot pastries.

Monday-Friday from 11.30am, Kitchen closes 2pm Monday-Friday
